Background

Leelanau Enterprise is a weekly newspaper covering the news and events around Leelanau County, MI. The newspaper’s circulation is around 8,000 spread across print and digital subscribers. The print copy is available across the county within supermarkets and convenience stores as well as newspaper boxes. The print version is around $2 and the digital only subscription $47 a year.

The digital subscription refers to two components: The website (updated on Thursday) and an e-Edition (released on Wednesday), which is a viewer that mimics the look and feel of the print edition.

The site runs on Drupal. It is unknown if the newspaper or a third-party vendor manage the site.

While I am a subscriber to the digital edition, the testing was completed while I was not logged in

	Problem #1 White space on the landing page. Solution I’ve provided two screenshots to indicate at least two areas there is white space on the landing page. Drupal is made up of components, however, there is freedom to code using HTML to personalize the space. The recommendation is the landing page have an overhaul.
